Mule Gimmer Lamb Sale 2025

Monday 15th & Tuesday 16th September 2025

The Annual Sale of Mule Gimmer Lambs on behalf of NEMSA

Kindly Sponsored by Carrs Billington Agriculture, Farmers Guardian, Shearwell Data,

Ash Tree Insurance Ltd & Eden Farm Supplies.

Forward: 19,911 Gimmer Lambs

The Great Annual Two-Day Show and Sale of Mule Gimmer Lambs on behalf of NEMSA saw the quality of sheep on offer throughout the sale as good as seen for many years, praise and credit must be given to our vendors.

We also give a special thank you to all our sale day sponsors for their continued support. The trade saw the quality top pen lambs in strong demand and easily sold. Throughout the two days buyers were looking to purchase powerful tupping lambs and happy to pay a premium. The continued drought this summer effected the trade for the smaller running lambs for these selling to a lesser trade than the previous years sale.

An overall market average for the two sale days of £168.39 was achieved (which was £1 up on the year).
